Sinusitis

Sinusitis is an inflammation or swelling of the tissue lining the sinuses. The sinuses are the four pairs of cavities (spaces) in the head. They are connected by a narrow channel. The sinuses create a thin mucus that drains from the nasal passages. This drainage helps keep the nose clean and free of bacteria.
